If they can take away the right to carry from off-duty cops, that's a huge victory for the anti-gun crowd and does absolutely nothing to make people safer...

I agree with you for the most part. I am not troubled with off duty LEO carrying. I have no problem with anyone properly licensed carrying. In fact, I think it is a good idea in a public setting. When going to a game, the place is crawling with LEO and other armed personnel. All there to protect.

IMO, there is no need for other, non-uniformed and not actively engaged personnel running around when those charged with security are already in place. It makes sense to restrict weapons to those that are there to man them. This would include off duty LEO. I would have little problem with anyone properly licensed to carry at games, but I don't make the rules.

Going to a Professional Football game is not something that I put myself through, as the restrictions and personal space infringements are that I want to endure. Not wanting to break rules and endure that mess, I steer clear.

We're not talking about NEED, we're talking about preserving our RIGHTS.
That's the real issue here.
