U.S. Supreme Court Justice Antonin Scalia says Satan is at work in American society.
In an interview with New York Magazine, the longest-serving high court justice warned that even though the devil isn't doing the same things from the Bible, he's still very active.
"What he's doing now is getting people not to believe in him or in God. He's much more successful that way," he said.

Scalia's comments come as the U.S. Supreme Court opens for business, despite the government shutdown that's closed other parts of Washington.
The justices returned to the bench Monday morning for their new term. They began with reviewing hundreds of cases to eliminate those on which they will not rule.
But there are a number of important cases the court will be taking, including the following:
Arguments against employers having to provide contraception coverage under the president's health care law Cases regarding prayer at government events Cases regarding protests at abortion clinics
Satan, Barack, Beelzebub, The Great Deceiver. Known by a lot of different names but an evil sob no matter what the name.

I agree with Scalia that Satan is at work; I disagree with Scalia that Satan is not doing the same things as he did in the Bible...just like liberalism, old slew foot has the same bag of tricks...nothing new under the sun.
I think Scalia’s point is that the devil is now working more successfully than in the past. From all appearances, he’s having phenomenal sucsess.

Roberts would say, I think, “You have an out—this Obamacare is only in place because it is a TAX. When the legislature decides it no longer wants to TAX its citizenry (that is, when the citizenry decides to elect a legislature that will no longer TAX it to death), then Obamacare can disappear.”
I think Roberts should have killed Obamacare in its infancy, don’t get me wrong. But it is VERY significant that the SCOTUS rejected the “commerce clause” argument of the Kenyan Clown.
Scalia is a bit understated, eh?
There is a REASON why the US isn’t mentioned in Revelations. We don’t play a role...
I’d say the Devil is at work in the Supreme Court also.

It will turn! There are no athiests in the foxholes, or so the saying goes. Let a little austurity hit and just watch how many christians there are. When it’s good, we forget.
