'Gestapo' tactics meet senior citizens at Yellowstone
Eagle Tribune ^ | 10/08/2013 | John Macone

The bus stopped along a road when a large herd of bison passed nearby, and seniors filed out to take photos. Almost immediately, an armed ranger came by and ordered them to get back in, saying they couldn’t “recreate.” The tour guide, who had paid a $300 fee the day before to bring the group into the park, argued that the seniors weren’t “recreating,” just taking photos.“She responded and said, ‘Sir, you are recreating,’ and her tone became very aggressive,” Vaillancourt said.

The seniors quickly filed back onboard and the bus went to the Old Faithful Inn, the park’s premier lodge located adjacent to the park’s most famous site, Old Faithful geyser. That was as close as they could get to the famous site — barricades were erected around Old Faithful, and the seniors were locked inside the hotel, where armed rangers stayed at the door.

“They looked like Hulk Hogans, armed. They told us you can’t go outside,” she said. “Some of the Asians who were on the tour said, ‘Oh my God, are we under arrest?’ They felt like they were criminals.”

A lot of people who were foreign said they wouldn’t come back (to America),” she said.

Lots of inadequate and insecure losers will love to go along with Obama’s unconstitutional behavior.

In the end, he’ll be running the largest criminal enterprise in world history - and loving it.

Po little African dictators got nuthin’ on him.

Look what he does to flood victims...

0bama closes state highway 34 between Grand Lake and Estes Park, CO. One of only two ways into the mountain town after the thousand-year flood destroyed the three main routes.

Trail Ridge road between Grand Lake and Estes Park CO is closed due to the shutdown. It is one of only two roads into Estes Park after the floods. This is a declared disaster area with major infrastructure damage. TR road will close for the winter due to weather before long but every day and every access route counts as this mountain town of 10,000 tries to get a handle on the flood aftermath before serious winter weather sets in.

TR road is a state highway so where do the Feds get off closing it? Unfortunately Mayor Pinkham doesn't have the balls to stand up for Estes Park. He was on Fox News putting the blame on Congress instead of doing his job. But the fact remains, it is 0bama that is applying pain to people in a national disaster area for political gamesmanship.

I post this not to complain or find relief but simply to inform all of yet another incident of 0malignant's narcissistic cruelty.

“And how we burned in the camps later, thinking: What would things have been like if every Security operative, when he went out at night to make an arrest, had been uncertain whether he would return alive and had to say good-bye to his family? Or if, during periods of mass arrests, as for example in Leningrad, when they arrested a quarter of the entire city, people had not simply sat there in their lairs, paling with terror at every bang of the downstairs door and at every step on the staircase, but had understood they had nothing left to lose and had boldly set up in the downstairs hall an ambush of half a dozen people with axes, hammers, pokers, or whatever else was at hand?... The Organs would very quickly have suffered a shortage of officers and transport and, notwithstanding all of Stalin's thirst, the cursed machine would have ground to a halt! If...if...We didn't love freedom enough. And even more – we had no awareness of the real situation.... We purely and simply deserved everything that happened afterward.”

They could have said they were illegal immigrants.

Nah. The devotion to national treasures would have thrown the cops off.

Bet not one single person on the Mall, today, gave as much as a care for the WWII Memorial.

Sorry, I didn’t see the original thread. But I thought this was totally nuts. I was in Europe this summer, and it was obvious that the US customs officials and TSA were a whole lot worse that their Euro counterparts. Some people from Europe asked me about which places to visit and for the first time, I told them not to bother to come to the US because we have one of the world’s worst governments.

Why don’t those rangers have the guts to say “FUBO” to our dick-tater?

I’m not one to adopt an overly libertarian position, but I agree that these “rangers” and park police are behaving in a manner reminiscent of the guards at Auschwitz or at the Berlin Wall, blindly following illegal and immoral orders.

It’s not good to see American law enforcement personnel enforcing lawless government dictums.

The “Park Service” needs to be disbanded or absorbed by another federal agency.

Local businesses need to put up signs, “Members of the National Park Service no longer welcome at this establishment”.

Do that all over the country.

We voted over 60% Republican in the last two elections. Higher than the average for Larimer county which is majority Republican. So, yeah, I guess we're libs.

FWIW right now 2,000 of us aren't flushing anything thanks to two miles of sewer line washing away.

Thanks for chiming in with your brilliance though!

Because for many years now recruiting practices and policy’s
on retainment of federal badgemonkeys geared toward one
fundamental goal....finding and keeping human refuse who
not only will act this way but actually enjoy it. The goal is to
create a modern gestapo/SS. News reports indicate that the
goal has been met.

The only way we rid ourselves of this scourge is to kill them....
both the evil agenda creators in Mordor on the Potomac and
their modern army of Uruk-Hai.
