Veterans first fought America’s wars, then they fought the National Park Service over White House-ordered closures of war memorials because of the partial shutdown of the federal government.
Now they’re developing a response to President Obama’s “war” against them: A rally.
The Million Vet March on the Memorials will be held Sunday, Oct. 13, at 9 a.m. Eastern at the World War II memorial on the National Mall, the location where rangers under orders from the White House tried, unsuccessfully, to prevent vets from visiting in recent days.
The announcement said the group Special Operations Speaks is organizing the rally because the Obama administration “is using the government shutdown as an excuse to keep our veterans from acknowledging the debt owed to them and their predecessors.”

Because “troll” is the last resort, not the first. And even if someone was a troll, do you think they’d admit it?
Civility goes a long way. Just because someone might not agree with you or your world view, or what you read, or find enlightening, doesn’t make them a troll.
There’s a ton of folks out here who don’t agree with me on some issues, yet we have civil discussions, and they’re clearly not trolls, nor would I use the appellation in regard to them.
You win allies and friends a lot easier - and bring them around to your viewpoint, if that’s what you want - by being civil and patiently, clearly, and concisely laying out your point of view, with facts to back them up.
And I have indeed seen - and been in - flame posts with real trolls, who are no longer with us thanks to the judicious use of the Zot by wise, omniscient Admin Moderators after said behavior was called to their attention, investigated, and found to be the case.
So... chill. Peace is always an option. Guns point outwards from the ramparts, not in.

With all those furloughed "folks" not around, would it be a little bit easier to get around DC?
We need one million in at least ten major cities across America. I’d hop on a plane to DC and attend. Or a major city nearby, just NOT Atlanta.
What we need is for truckers to stop deliveries nation-wide for one week. Make these tyrants pay. Make Bo declare martial law and see how far it gets him. See if this faggot can command our military to murder their fellow citizens. See how long it takes before their weapons are turned on him and his band of criminals in every branch of government.

Some of the things on WND - and I’ve been reading Joe Farah and articles there for quite a few years, at least as long as I’ve been on FR - have been “out there”, but hey... it’s the Internet. You cull and sort and research and investigate until you get to the truth of things.
It’s like anything else. You take it with a “grain of salt” until you can prove the veracity of it, or discount it as disinformatziya.
