Organizers of the “Truckers Ride for the Constitution” rally say they are indeed coming to Washington on Friday — but whether they will shut down the Beltway or just make a lot of noise remains to be seen.
[snip]The protest group’s agenda has evolved since the story began making the rounds of news outlets across the country early this week with a story in U.S. News & World Report, which said the truckers wanted members of Congress to be arrested, while others called for the ouster of President Obama.
Andrews said the group still wants to get rid of Obama, but will do so by legal means. She said independent truckers also are upset about new regulations, including on idling and hours of service, that threaten to put them out of business.

redstate.org had an article saying they were going to close 495 with the national guard, not sure if it’s true or not. If that does happen the fecal matter will hit the oscillating unit.
They are joined , supported and encouraged by the 2 million bikers organization.
I think there will be some trucks and a lot of disappointment.

So, who is going to be disappointed?
Mostly the folks who have refused to accept certain realities about trucking. The vast majority of drivers are driving someone else’s truck and its a rare owner operator who can afford to drive an empty truck around in a circle.

So it is us. LOL The RINOs are out in force tonight. I turned off my TV. These RINOs have not produced in any election since 2004, and we are supposed to vote for them? 2010 was Tea Party, not them. Ugh!
Well, that shows how bright these people are ... close I495 so the truckers can’t close I495 .... takes a Harvard graduate to come up with a plan like that. Of course, all the trucks will go onto the side streets and other highways and really cause a snafu.
