It's another thing entirely to say it directly to his face.
It worked for Putin Vs Mr Red Line and it will work for Cruz just as well against Mr Shut Down.
It also worked for Ronald Reagan verses the Evil Empire.
The flack Cruz is getting is pretty exactly the same flack Reagan got in style, tone, volume and substance from the same players back in the 80’s so he must be directly over the target, pissing off exactly the right people and terrifying them with the bombs he is dropping.
