I was watching this documentary about a man in Britain born with Dystrophic Epidermolysis Bullosa. This is a condition where the skin doesn't remain intact and falls off most parts of the body. The part that really shocked me was the poor quality of the bandages. They were using gauze bandages to save money and every time his mother pulled it off (nationalized healthcare usually won't send anyone to your house) it would take nearly all of his skin off. So this young man was in excruciating agony nonstop all day long all so that some lazy idiot Brits could get "free healthcare".

The second most shocking part was how utterly unaware the family was about how poor his treatment and medical guidance was. His life could have been infinitely better if they just had better bandages.

I believe that the next step in European idiocy will be the denial of basic anesthesia for any and all surgeries, including pediatrics. Maybe that is already happening. Denmark is already euthanizing children and young people with treatable diseases.
