You will be sorely mistaken if you think the cops are on your side.

"You will be sorely mistaken if you think the cops are on your side."

I didn't say on my side. I said on a wounded Veterans' side, whether an individual or an organization. No cop wants to be seen man-handling a Vet without legs, arms, jaws, or whatever their injuries. It would be a PR nightmare for whatever police department and go all the way up to Mayor.

Any cop that did so, without threat to his person (think video phones), would be either fired or reduced to evidence cage duty to never bother citizens again.

While I still believe there are good cops, I know well they are getting more bold in their tactics and power trips. I read it almost every day where they break into the wrong home and/or shoot some poor little dog for no or little reason. I get what you're saying. I'm just saying our physically disabled Vets have more power than they realize.

The down side of my assertion is that maybe those wounded Vets believe they've done their duty and want no further involvement so they can live their lives the best they can with their injuries. I could be completely wrong, but I think it's worth a try to organize them.
