EBT cards aren’t credit cards. They’re debit cards.

Try to spend a ‘no limit’ debit card and see what happens.

Once upon a time my bank had a glitch with their debit cards. Guess again if you think Kroger just let me take those groceries home on the honor system.

Being a decent (and apparently gullible) person I put all my items back though. I didn’t just leave the buggy full of stuff in the way in the front of the store.

From what I read in other articles, the system whcih told them how much was left on the card was down. It said that after it came up, they stopped one lady who had $700 in groceries, but only 49 cents on the card. The people using the cards knew they were breaking the law, but saw an opportunity to do some non-riot looting.
