The Republican Party is dead. No sense trying to revive it now.

It needs to be blown up, and a new conservative party needs to emerge.

I am inclined to agree.

I am convinced that we must see a new conservative party that is ideologically and practically devoted to restoring the principles of our Constitution.

My best guess is that it will no longer be productive or even possible to raise this new party up within the identity and shell of the GOP.

The “Freedom Party” might be one of the better name options put forward thus far. If someone needed a starting point for how to articulate the fundamental pillars of the platform I will throw out these four simple ideas:

Restrained Government
Individual Responsibility
Constitutional Freedom
The Rule of Law

I guess there needs to be a good way to also highlight sufficient assurance of military might, and arguably the words,”Restrained Government” do not sufficiently convey the critical importance of fiscal responsibility. But, hey, I was only meaning to suggest a starting point. :-)
