I liked that comment too. He didn’t have substandard insurance, he had the insurance he chose. Now he is told his choice is irrelevant.

The comments are a study in cognitive dissonance.
"The increase is not because of Obamacare, it is the greedy insurance company. Obamacare requires that your greedy insurer provide "better" coverage than your old sub-standard policy!" (So the increase IS because of Obamacare)
"You know who pays when you don't have adequate insurance? The taxpayer! Seriously, dude, you should apply for a subsidy." (Because the taxpayer doesn't pay for the subsidies, they come from Obama's stash)
The zombie replies are frightening. The O-bots will only permit opinions that glorify Obama and Obamacare and will brand their own as traitorous trolls if they dare to criticize. Oh, and greedy Kaiser is "non-profit." I thought lefties liked "non-profits.)

Ha, Ha, Ha. America got what they voted for.

The reason is, your policy did not have the minimum provisions required in Obamacare. Therefore, that particular policy will no longer exist under the new law. I noticed that the commenter didn't mention that the reason his policy doesn't have the minimum provisions is that it didn't provide HIM with coverage for maternity care, mammograms, ob/gyn services and abortion services.
Thousands and millions of policies are being canceled because of this.
