The House (and probably Senate) will be won or lost need on how well the Republicans can exploit the implosion of healthcare.gov and ObamaCare.

The Republicans can claim that they blinked for the good of the country and to avoid the effects of a President who was pushng the nation into default to avoid a one year delay in his very, very broken healthcare system.

People are already seeing the problems with Obamacare, and are really going to hate it. And they’ll assign blame for it accordingly.

This is the equivilant of letting the rope go in a tug of war. Over Thanksgiving and Christmas families will be talking about how much Obamacare sucks, not a default.

Ordinarily, yes. But the problem is that thanks to caving, if this is true, Boehner will place his entire caucus at risk. This was a fight that, once begun, needed to be fought to the finish. Democrats will be energized and the Republican base has been told, once again, to take a flying leap. It wouldn't surprise me if large numbers of conservatives either stay home or vote against their RINOs. How will Republicans hold the House under those conditions?

Obama will continue to prop it up. He will grant more exemptions and deferrals. He will find more ways to protect his voter base and, if he needs a legislative change, he will either ignore legislative restrictions or blame the GOP for implementation problems. The media will support him at every step. I don't think Obamacare will fall of its own weight, although it should.

Evil, big business, Republican Corporations and this whole "marketplace". The MSM will be telling them who to blame as Democrats propose "single payer" and we all see this coming.
