Well by allowing a vote, the Dims plus a few squishy GOP members will pass this. That is the Hastert rule will be violated.
It is a big deal. Just ask Harry Reid.
What we don't want is for him to forward a bill that gets all of the Dems and a couple dozen Republicans and passes.
So, if he is smart, he will not allow any such bill to come to the floor.
