Its very, very serious, warned Senator John McCain, Republican of Arizona. Republicans have to understand we have lost this battle, as I predicted weeks ago, that we would not be able to win because we were demanding something that was not achievable.

-snip--> GOP lawmakers and aides, who spent hours in meetings with Boehner Tuesday, were shocked to see him upbeat as his House Republican Conference crumbled around him.
That says all I NEED TO KNOW!

Translation: we didn’t allow him to cave. And now he has to get the votes of his leadership and the democrats. He’s done and he knows it.

"We really did go too far. We screwed up." "We won't be the last political party to overplay our hand. It might happen one day on the Democratic side. And if it did, would Republicans, for the good of the country, kind of give a little? We really did go too far. We screwed up. But their response is making things worse, not better."

Another rebellious faction believes repealing the medical-device tax was nothing but a giveaway to corporate America, not a part of Obamacare that should be erased.
Which "rebellious faction" was that?

If they could maybe give the staffers a reduced subsidy, like 50% instead of 75% - something akin to what many employers do. Staffers do more work than Congress. But Congress, the Courts, and the Executives who enrich themselves at the expense of taxpayers with cronies and inside trading: they should be fined, jailed, and forced to receive Zero Care.

Team Romney and Team McCain win again.
The GOP is THE party of ObamaCARE/RomneyCARE
and every disgusting overlooking of treason
against the US Constitution.

I don’t understand why McCain isn’t facing a recall, like the would-be gun grabbers in Colorado did-is his embarrassing pandering what folks in Arizona really want, or does AZ law not permit that he be removed other than in a regular election?

Cruz could have stopped this. ANY senator could have. Has Cruz joined the RINOs?

Well...John *HIC!* Boehmer vs Mitch "the *Itch" McConnell;
seems like John's & Mitch's last stand, is really their last stands.

The only plan Boehner has and had is to side with the Libs. He never intended to side with the people.

If Boehner engineers a total cave and he gives Reid and Obama everything they want, then he should be removed. [He should never have been reelected Speaker, but we can't undo that.]
The next major disaster will be Immigration Reform. The Donkeys and Rino Gopee are salivating over passage.
The concurrent event with Immigration Reform and beyond will be the attempted purge of all TEA Party and conservatives members from Republican ranks. This will be ramrodded by the establishment GOP, RINOs, Donkeys, and MSM. The Republican Party as currently constituted needs to become as relevant as the Whigs.
