Breitbart - Big Government ^ | October 17, 2013 | Sarah Palin

Posted on 10/17/2013 4:26:57 AM PDT by don-o

Bottom line snip

Friends, do not be discouraged by the shenanigans of D.C.’s permanent political class today. Be energized. We’re going to shake things up in 2014. Rest well tonight, for soon we must focus on important House and Senate races. Let’s start with Kentucky – which happens to be awfully close to South Carolina, Tennessee, and Mississippi – from sea to shining sea we will not give up. We’ve only just begun to fight.

What can she do? Cory Booker wins. As long as low information voters continue to vote, we lose. Stupid people will stay stupid.

imo - This is her moment to shine. Hoping to see her in Tennessee asap. Joe Carr needs a huge boost of name recognition.

It appears to make no more difference.

America and its Constitution are lost, or forgotten,
.... or just hated in DC,
as votes of THE LIVING are ignored.

I hate to put a damper on your discouragement and disappointment but ? Consider the place where that election took place, New Jersey.
It might as well been Massachusetts.

How many times did she go to NJ? More than once?

It’s not magic - like she shows up and waves a wand. It’s called a campaign for a reason.

RINO’s have to go.
Incumbents who have sat on their hands have to go.

I believe when people get a bigger taste of this Obmacare they may wise up. Unfortunately by that time it may be too late.

This is our Valley Forge folks.

Thomas Paine:

" These are the times that try men's souls: The summer soldier and the sunshine patriot will, in this crisis, shrink from the service of their country; but he that stands it now, deserves the love and thanks of man and woman. Tyranny, like Hell, is not easily conquered; yet we have this consolation with us, that the harder the conflict, the more glorious the triumph. What we obtain too cheap, we esteem too lightly: it is dearness only that gives every thing its value. Heaven knows how to put a proper price upon its goods; and it would be strange indeed if so celestial an article as freedom should not be highly rated."

We have been through much pain so far and we will be tested in the future.
As Thomas Paine said, these are the times that tests men's souls.
Fight on.

Sarah Palin is the latest conservative star heading to New Jersey to support Republican Steve Lonegan in his uphill fight for the Senate against Newark Mayor Cory Booker. On Saturday, Palin will appear with Lonegan at a speedway rally and training session for campaign workers in New Egypt, N.J.

Kentucky Sen. Rand Paul and Texas Gov. Rick Perry have also campaigned for Lonegan, a former mayor of Bogota, N.J., and former state director of Americans for Prosperity, a conservative political group backed by billionaire brothers Charles and David Koch.

I just don’t see much future for republicans, especially outside of the south. We just need to be split into two separate countries.

You have touched on the real problem. We will always have corrupt politicians and slime balls who want to lead. The real problem is that the public prefers these types when given a choice. And as much as you might try to try to “win the argument” as Rush says, it is impossible to educate stupid people. And I know this election was in New Jersey, but I am from Texas and we are headed in the same direction like a rocket sled on rails.
