After winning near unconditional surrender from congressional Republicans on Obamacare, more borrowing and the reopening the government, President Barack Obama is feeling emboldened enough to push for immigration reform and other key agenda items that have been dormant for much of his second term.
Acknowledging the public disapproval of Washington, he said people must stop listening to the lobbyists, the bloggers and the talking heads on the radio...................."

There was a story earlier about how the best thing that came out of the shutdown might be that the “Amnesty” bill is dead because of it. The story went on to explain that before the shutdown, the GOP establishment had convinced Boehner to break the Hastert rule and use what political capital he had to push through the Senate amnesty bill with democrat votes. However, since Boehner was forced to break the Hastert rule to end the shutdown, the tea party caucus agreed to give him a “pass” on that (which is why he got a standing ovation in the caucus and there is no talk of replacing him today. But the price for the “pass” was an agreement that he not bring up any amnesty bill without a majority of republicans supporting it, effectively killing amnesty...regardless of what Obama wants.

After winning near unconditional surrender from congressional Republicans on Obamacare, more borrowing and the reopening the government, President Barack Obama is feeling emboldened enough to push for immigration reform and other key agenda items that have been dormant for much of his second term. There's no surrender. The law was passed and upheld.
It's like me driving through a stop sign, then "surrendering" to the police.
What the Republicans needed to get was answers on why there are exemptions, what is the process, who decides.
But this is the job of the media, not congress. Republican congress people are not journalists or bloggers or talking heads.

‘Immigration Reform’?
What IS that?
We already have immigration laws absolutely NO ONE observes or enforces
We already GIVE billions in benefits, freebies and other under the table considerations to uncodumented’s in America
We already extend the identical rights and priveleges to undocumented’s that actual citizens earn and enjoy
What IS this ‘reform’?
What ELSE can they want?

Looking for another party???? I am.I know the feeling. What is especially infuriating to me and something I will never forget is that a large number of Pubs went with the Rat plan because they wanted themselves and their staffs exempt from a law I'm subject to.
My plan is to contribute to Tea Party candidates and if they are not on the ballot in the general election I won't vote. I will not be an election judge again, or serve my local Pub office on phone banks or canvassing.
