Obama's and Reid's lies and vindictive behavior were noted by a number of low info types that I know. Add to that folks seem to be reinvigorated.

Our leaders have been trying to finesse these political hoodlums for five years and they haven't won a battle yet.

There was value in the shutdown debate. It shed some light into some very dark corners.
But overall I agree with you. It is not a level playing field. The corrupt media is all-in for the Democrats. So conservatives must choose their battles very carefully.
The big story the last month should have been the pathetic roll out of Obamacare. The conservative message should have simply been this, and this alone: Mr. President, if you give an exemption to one, you must give an exemption to all.
The media could not have possibly spun that to favor Obama. It would have been a conservative home run.
