Look at the fiasco of just signing up for Obamacare.
Wait until the fiasco of finding a doctor under Obamacare or getting treatment or into the hospital.
Getting the insurance is one thing — Getting medical care with the insurance is something else all together.
How are they going to do it if one gets sick away from their state? Most of those policies have people signed up to a local network. That paperwork is going to be a nightmare. What happens when people move?...new state, new options. What about people who spend a lot of their time in a second (or even third) residences or on vacation? What's going to happen when people can't pay their deductibles, will it create a whole new category of loans that people can't pay back? What about people who stop paying?
I can't see how this turns out well. In fact, I'm thinking it's the end of being able to depend on medical care. Eat heathily, stay in shape, learn about alternative cures, and buy a book about first aid.
