It's like I posted earlier tonight.

That's practically saying that Republicans forced Democrats to become intractable, for fear that they would open themselves up to criticism or appear weak to their own base if they gave in on a point or two in the name of "compromise."

In other words, just the existence of Republicans forces Democrats to do the things they do, which is why it's always the Republicans' fault.

This happens all the time with criminals. They can't advertise for the best help when planning an armored car heist since the cops will surely find out. So, they have to be sneaky about it and hire friends of friends of friends.

They end up with guys whose guns jam, who forget to bring ammo, who show up stoned, who end up shooting each other, and who forget to put gas in the tank of the 1980 Chevy someone provided for transportation and getaway.

It's all the cops' fault!
