I'm really not sure the "establishment" Republicans have an end game in mind. You could only do what you propose, if you proposed an alternative. What is the Republican alternative now?
To me, they need to seize upon the "glitches" and be ready to go with some "undo" bills when the Democrats start floating trial balloons for a single-payor program. (The single talking point should be, "How can the Democrats believe they can run a healthcare program for everyone, when they can't put together a website for 30 million?)
