Sebelius Admits She Needed Four Year Delay [5 year set-up, additional year testing]
American Thinker ^ | October 22, 2013 | Karin McQuillan

In my column yesterday I explain that the Obamacare fail was baked in for political reasons, foremost among them, the need to keep the public from learning that the Tea Party critics were right. Obama knew he couldn't be re-elected if people learned what Obamacare was. He also knew it was not ready to be launched. The White House tactic was to keep the Obamacare regs and prices secret from the public, which meant the website could not be constructed properly. Each day brings more news proving the administration's political motivations that made failure inevitable and acceptable to them.

Over the weekend HHS Sect. Kathleen Sebelius admitted in an interview: "The online insurance marketplace needed five years of construction and a year of testing, she said. "We had two years and almost no testing."

Sebelius is saying she needed a delay of four years to get the system up and running.

A delay of four years is an admission of complete failure. The Administration chose to launch a chaotic mess. Their actions have thrown millions of Americans out of their health care plans and their jobs, and could potentially bankrupt the insurance industry (says angry Obamacare advocate and New York Times reporter Ross Douthat).

Obamacare's empowering a federal bureaucracy to centrally plan a new health care system for America was very much like one of Stalin's Five-Year-Plans or Mao's Great Leap Forward............

The concept is to set up failure for the private parts of ObamaCare so the government can rush in, seize the market and save the day.

e.g Get ready for demonizing the insurance industry for raising their rates due to ObamaCare.

Simple and is working to plan.

This is a MAJOR scandal and Sebelius should face criminal prosecution for criminal negligence for getting people kicked off their health care plans before anything was in place to replace them. ANOTHER scandal that will just blow over like Benghazi, the IRS and DOJ/NSA spying on everyone, I suppose??

The media should be on Sebelius like white on rice!

It is not medicare for everyone, it is medicare for people making less that $62,000/ per year, government subsidy up to *80 something for a family of four, with extremely expensive premiums and high deductibles.

The wealthy politicians like John McCain and Mitch McConnell don’t see this as a problem because they have no concern for the middle class. Concern for the middle class won’t get them re-elected and they don’t make big donations.

Oh, it is clearly the case that they knew it wasn’t going to work at least several days before the rollout. The Washington Post reports that in testing the week before, it failed to handle a few hundred people at the same time; and with only two thousand people logged in on October 1, it had crashed in production...so they new ahead of time it wasn’t going to work, and when it crashed under trivial load, they were running around trying to claim it was from the popularity that exceeded their 30 million simultaneous user design specs. They knew they were lying out of whole cloth...not even just spin or twisted viewpoints.

Sen. Cruz has won. He was right in his efforts to stop Obamacare.

Sebelius has a free hand to fill in all the blanks on this turkey - and this is her track record!?

The IRS is going to run this - and we know they’ve targeted Americans.

And Sebelius and the IRS have been camped out in the WH with Obama.

And why he's being attacked. But he isn't running away from it or allowing them to change the subject in interviews.

"...............Project developers for the health care website who spoke to the AP on condition of anonymity — because they feared they would otherwise be fired — said they raised doubts among themselves whether the website could be ready in time. They complained openly to each other about what they considered tight and unrealistic deadlines. One was nearly brought to tears over the stress of finishing on time, one developer said. Website builders saw red flags for months.

A review of internal architectural diagrams obtained by the AP revealed the system's complexity. Insurance applicants have a host of personal information verified, including income and immigration status. The system connects to other federal computer networks, including ones at the Social Security Administration, IRS, Veterans Administration, Office of Personnel Management and the Peace Corps.".......... The Tea Party wanted to delay a program that is dysfunctional, that requires people to buy high-deductible, high co-payment insurance at an inflated price, and that mandates coverage that violates basic religious beliefs granted by God and protected by the First Amendment. Our media pretend that the Tea Party was wrong to try to delay or repeal this. Interesting.

Last year, our rate went up 20% and clearly stated the ACA’s coverege for pre-existing conditions and the reason.

This year, we were canceled, again naming the ACA, and are told to go to the state exchange to re-apply to what ever the hell they offer now.

The good news they told me my deductible has tripled in three years but I now have full maternity coverage due to the ACA. I am a 62 year old man and am over the moon with that news.
