What’s their post-bankruptcy plan? Their residents won’t magically overnight become taxpayers.

Fewer than half of Detroit's 88,000 streetlights are believed to work

The chief of police for the City of Detroit came face to face with a carjacker and he ran.

first-degree murder, felony murder, arson, torture, first-degree child abuse, and disinterment and mutilation of a body

Most of them have been cut off from what I hear.

This is a corrupt Democrat hell well over 50 years in the making. Frankly, it is well deserved, but if you use it as an example of Democrat leadership, you must be a racist.

The real question that should be asked is where did all that money go?

The Emergency Manager found example after example of waste and fraud, and the personal enrichment of many Dem Pols. Detroit Bus drivers make MUCH more than most of the pilots flying out of DTW. How do they reconcile things like that?

And you won’t here much, if any of that, mentioned in the mainstream media, just endless droning about “Retirements!!”

More welfare! Actually welfare is the only reason the vast majority of Detroit hasn’t reverted back into the soil at this point.

Why is a UAW lawyer commenting on a city bankruptcy?
