History of ‘High-Profile Failures’ Attributed to Main Obamacare Website Contractor

The prime contractor to build the Obamacare exchange, which has been riddled with glitches and became the laughing stock of many, appears to have had a poor track record for other projects in recent years, according to reports.

According to Sun News anchor Brian Lilley, if the U.S. government awarding the group the contract in 2011 had looked “north of the border,” to the parent company that is, they “would likely have set off some alarm bells.”

Yes, they were vetted - they donated to Obama.

And, yes again, they were vetted favorably due to certain failure (Canadian S/W company for their failed gun registry). Contract specified between the lines: Failure to pave way for future Cloward-Piven crisis.

Did anyone vet the guy who shoved the ‘bill’ down our throats before he selected these computer goons to administer it?

Welcome to the Sebelius way of doing business. Most of Gov Brownback’s term has been taken up with prying her ‘friends’ off the state gravy train.
No surprise whatsoever.

I am wondering if they were selected because as Canadians they are accustomed to socialized health care. An American firm might sabotage, you know. Also, there are reports that the CEO was a member of the same Princeton class as Michelle and that both are members of some professional organization for black women. A free and responsible press would be loudly reporting on this.

When evaluating proposals for a contract, past performance (i.e., how well a contractor performed in past engagements) is usually one of the key factors that is given significant weighting for the purposes of selecting a qualified contactor. In this case, ‘past performance’ appears to either have been ignored or re-defined in some political context.

A guy called in to Rush yesterday and said past failures were actually an assurance to get the next contract - as long as the contractor didn’t finger the gov’t as to blame for the failure.

It would be interesting to know exactly how they were “selected”. Was it through a competitive acquisition process or some other means? Congress really needs to find out.

Also, after award, was the contract modified and if so in what ways and were costs increased?

That was a wise caller. There is a lot of truth to that.

He was “in the business”, so he knew what he was talking about.

He also said the requirements were written in such a way that it was impossible to fulfill them.

It was reportedly a no bid contract.

Incredible, if true. There is no reason on earth why this work shouldn’t have been awarded through competition.

I KNEW I had heard of CGI / Stanley somewhere before. Some of you FReepers may remember this guy’s vid right after Benghazi. He traces the “Innocence of Muslims” movie excuse back to CGI / Stanley.

Just thought I’d throw that out there. ;-)

And they’re Canadian. Let’s not have Americans build an IT system. I’m surprised Great Leader didn’t outsource to the Muslim Brotherhood for this project.

Toni Townes-Whitley, Senior Vice President at CGI Federal for Civilian Agency programs, is Princeton Class of 1985-—same dumbed-down class as Michelle Obama. Both are members of Association of Black Princeton Alumni.

I wonder how much the Obama clans fee as consultants would total? Clearly they have mastered the system in so many ways.
