My thoughts are that Alan Keyes and anyone who follows him fighting windmills is a fool.

Okay......let's step away from this being ALAN KEYES!!!! It is bigger than Alan Keyes!

In other words, let’s keep our eyes on the prize and not allow ourselves to be distracted by some pied piper.

What bigger prize could there be than to get Obama out of office in 2015 versus waiting until the next Presidential election?

2010 was just the beginning of a long march.

And with enough momentum, 2014 could DELIVER US FROM OBAMA!

“If we can focus 2014 on IMPEACHMENT, we could remove Obama from office TWO years early!”

But you won’t. It’s a pipe dream.

There are other ways to fight him than to rest your hopes on something that just isn’t going to work. You could instead focus on strategies that have a prayer of actually happening. That would be the pragmatic, and therefore conservative, approach.

Alright, how about we try to retake the Senate, but not by demanding our candidates swear to take up a banner that is unpopular and will get no traction with voters? Instead, make the cause something that has majority support, and might actually help them get elected. Say, the NSA spying scandal that people off all political stripes are upset about. Or just keep it simple and focus on the economy.

Retake the senate. But don’t ask any candidates to eliminate obama.

Got it.

Sure. Or you could try your strategy, and force candidates to run on a platform that reduces their chance to get elected, and that they can’t follow through on anyway.

Nobody is ever going to impeach him with only 2 years left in his term. This is a waste of time and effort.

Think of the remaining damage he can cause in 2 years. He hasn't even gone scorched earth yet.

Yep. But we wouldn’t want to keep him so distracted fighting impeachment that he couldn’t focus on doing more damage, now would we?

Would we???

Good idea. We’ll all just give up then.

Nothing to be gained by fighting him.

Ahhhhh sweet surrender!

blisssssssssss

Perhaps it escapes you that electing more CONSERVATIVE Republican Senators, taking over the Senate with a Republican majority, taking over the Senate Republican caucus by the conservatives, increasing the conservative representatives in the House and taking over the House Republican leadership by conservatives IS fighting Obama and fighting him (and the RINOs) EFFECTIVELY. That’s for 2014. And it sets the stage for a TRUE CONSERVATIVE to be the Republican presidential nominee in 2016 followed by said conservative being elected President.

So no, we’re not surrendering, we’re fighting. And WE are choosing the battles and the battlefield; we’re not letting Obama, the Democrats and the RINOs choose it for us. We aim to win the “war”. But feel free chasing windmills if that is your want and makes you happy.

It’s not about whether we would like him to be gone 2 years early. Everyone would love that. It just isn’t going to happen. It would really take a miracle.

For the first time in 6 years he is on the ropes this week. Yes, yes, yes, let’s pile on. He may never get impeached, but any action that can get passed around on YouTube is GOOD. This is where young people get their info. Forget the old media. Get truth out to people who think even Jon Stewart is old news. The constitution gives freedom to every last one of us, and Obama “knows better” so he is usurping it because Obama knows what is good for us, Constitution be damned. The kids will fight with us, if they know.

impeachment is a dead end.

primary challenges are infultrated by false flag conservatives who are only running to split votes and protect DC insiders.

beware the trolls.

I am not hopeful. Why?

I suspect that God will let Christians and conservatives boil in the stew of their OWN making and let them feel the full heat and consequences of decisions made by way of their OWN God-given agency!

$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$

Well, that’s what I said, only not so pessimistically. I don’t disagree with your points, but I would add that God is bigger and greater than any nation’s problems, or any individual’s problems.

I think if we as believers recommit our lives to Him, our every thought, our every word, our every action, He will take notice, and bless us according to His will.

We are in the equivalent of Babylonian captivity. During that time, God said to His people, and I believe to us today:

Jeremiah 29:4-14

New International Version (NIV)

4 This is what the Lord Almighty, the God of Israel, says to all those I carried into exile from Jerusalem to Babylon: 5 “Build houses and settle down; plant gardens and eat what they produce. 6 Marry and have sons and daughters; find wives for your sons and give your daughters in marriage, so that they too may have sons and daughters. Increase in number there; do not decrease. 7 Also, seek the peace and prosperity of the city to which I have carried you into exile. Pray to the Lord for it, because if it prospers, you too will prosper.” 8 Yes, this is what the Lord Almighty, the God of Israel, says: “Do not let the prophets and diviners among you deceive you. Do not listen to the dreams you encourage them to have. 9 They are prophesying lies to you in my name. I have not sent them,” declares the Lord.

10 This is what the Lord says: “When seventy years are completed for Babylon, I will come to you and fulfill my good promise to bring you back to this place. 11 For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. 12 Then you will call on me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you. 13 You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart. 14 I will be found by you,” declares the Lord, “and will bring you back from captivity.[a] I will gather you from all the nations and places where I have banished you,” declares the Lord, “and will bring you back to the place from which I carried you into exile.”

It is critical to understand: our opponents gain strength from Republican attempts to fight or attack them.

They lose strength when the public gets an accidental glimpse of what buffoons they really are.

The ObamaCare website failure did more damage to the regime in one day than all the righteous indignation Republicans have mustered up in five years. And they know it - that's why they are freaking out and making laughable attempts to shift blame.

Ed Snowden's defection should have done even greater damage to Obama - and would have, save for all the Republican Quislings immediately lining up to take the totalitarian side. These CINO's are greater enemies of liberty even than Eric Holder - for they are obligated to know better.

Defeating the progressives with their own Alinsky-ite rules - however uncomfortable it feels to traditionally polite, well-mannered conservatives - is the tactic called for. Talk of impeachment and censure just makes the enemy stronger. We need do nothing but stand back - and loudly ridicule them as their total inability to govern grows ever more obvious.
