I didn’t say there was no point, I said it wasn’t going to happen. Without retaking the Senate, it is a fool’s errand. Not just that, but you’d have to retake the Senate, in a single cycle, and either primary all the RINOs in the Senate or elect an extra conservative beyond majority to offset every RINO. Then, to top it off, you would need to hope and pray that not a single senator would be bought off, bullied, or blackmailed (or had just lied to get elected).
