The somewhat iconic face of HealthCare.gov has gotten the boot.
She is no longer, as of this weekend, the face of the health law's Web site. In her place are four bright logos, each representing a different way to apply for insurance coverage: Online, over the phone, with a paper application and in person.
The cheery couple on the next page also appears to have made a fast exit as well.

Actually, the hottest real estate is the 404 page, and the waiting animated gifs. If they sold that "real estate" to netflix so we could watch movies while we waited for them to fix the site, the website might actually turn a profit.
And they are forgetting why she was there in the first place taking up so much valuable "real estate." She was young and hip looking, to attract young healthy people to buy something they don't need. Now they are replacing it with - circles. Is this a admission of defeat?

They needed a correct racial, ethnic, and gender balance of smiling faces, and there just wasn’t enough room on the screen for that. So they decided the people were unnecessary and eliminated them, and after all, eliminating unnecessary people is one of the primary goals of Fubocare.
