California voters turned from locking up repeat offenders for life to approving a process to set many of them free. Such is the fallout of a three-strikes reform measure, Proposition 36, backed by more than two-thirds of California's electorate this past fall in a startling 180-degree switch on crime.

They’re just the latest wave released; the illegals and other criminals have already been turned loose due to cost constraints. They’re going to live with the people who can no longer afford to keep them incarcerated...
