I’m sorry but the Marine screwed up. You DO NOT pass classified material via unsecured email accounts. Apparently he attached a classified document to an email and sent it via his personal Yahoo account. That is a significant breech of security. As a 13 year veteran of the Marines I am sure he knew proper procedures for handling classified information. Personnel with access to classified material get annual refresher training. So he will have to defend his judgement as to why he chose to knowingly violate procedure and expose classified information. He will have to explain why he believed he couldn’t take the time (possibly only minutes, maybe an hour or two tops) to do it right. Unless there are other details that can’t be disclosed about this - I have very little sympathy for him.
Yes, but what is really important is to remove the facts regarding the pederast afghan police connex to murders of our Marines. The white paper put out on the murders of our soldiers and Marines points to “lack of culturation” in acceptance of homo/boy relations. Imagine that- not wanting to work with moral pigs.
These murders to make a point of who is running the “joint” command show, that is what drug dealing clan of afghanis—ask any special operator. Karzai’s clan vs the taliban opium brand— and the US in the middle. It is worth this to keep the chinee from getting rare earth minerals? Or a pipeline?
