It was a spasm of violence that stunned residents: some 200 black youths raising hell - what police called a full-blown riot - in Austin, Texas.
Angry black youths inexplicably converged by the Highland Mall, near an iconic haunted house attraction, and walked atop parked cars, fought among themselves, and hurled rocks at some 30 arriving police officers. Several people, including one officer, suffered minor injuries. Later, police said so many squad cars were need that the department was unable to provide adequate 911 emergency coverage to the rest of Austin. There were no reports of black-on-white violence, to be sure, as has often occurred at similarly gatherings across the country. The violence was unprecedented in hip and liberal Austin and, police later said, inexplicable. From America's small towns to urban metropolises, black mob violence has been on the rise in recent years, despite President Barack Obama's pledge, as the first black president, to bring hope and change to a post-racial America. Some of the violence has involved rowdy black youths simply raising hell, coming together in threatening flash mobs or converging for events like Miami's Urban Beach Week; yet many gatherings of black mobs have involved vicious and unprovoked attacks on whites, such as one that recently occurred in Brooklyn, New York. Ten black youths blocked a white couple's car while shouting racial slurs, then beat up the husband and pulled the wife by hair onto the street.
Author and journalist Colin Flaherty has chronicled the trend of black mob violence in his book "White Girl Bleed a Lot: The Return of Racial Violence to America." Austin had escaped this trend until last Saturday night, when some 200 black youths rampaged near an iconic haunted-house attraction, the House of Torment, at the nearly empty Highland Mall.

I disagree. I think the popularity is rooted in the psychology the people already see these hordes as zombies and the vision of watching them”removed” as a threat is satisfying.

Sure it would. These type of 'yutes' (to be polite) run like hell at the sight of a firearm. 95% of this mob would have fled at light speed if someone showed up with an AR type rifle and loosed a few rounds.
Is the term an honest description of many young, black males? Judging by all the violent flash mobs and attacks on whites in the last five years, I would say so. Of course, for p.c. reasons the numbers of black youths who fit the description of feral has never been discussed in any major liberal OR!! "reputable" conservative media outlet. But obviously the number is quite high.
The next question is: why, after fifty years of civil rights legislation, affirmative discrimination, and many attempts at education reform, are so many young, black males essentially barely or not at all civilized?

Now I am sure the KKK has had rising ranks over the last few years as people living in the cities and immediate surrounding areas - especially when the Feral packs can take the subway, travel together and act up. The PD’s are cutting back, the Govt is trying to disarm us and crap like this story goes on without any recourse.
The cops etal, act like they don’t even want to charge them and pity someone like myself that gets ‘caught up’ in one of these fiascos and manages to pop a few rounds off— and hopefully get lucky— you can imagine
IF you survive you will be charged with illegally owning a gun, leaving the scene, reckless endangerment and whatever else they can drum up...of course if the mob is 95 people, you will be charged with 99 counts of attempted murder etc.
You can figure if you pull a joebama and put a blast or round in the sky, 90 of those 95 animals would be around the corner and be gone. Naturally you have to take a chance on the H&R cause they will be able to regroup faster because they are using the cell phones DONATED BY US.
Chris Rock used to use a skit that basically said ‘his father would take him down to Wall St and point out the men in the street wearing suits and said ‘Son those are white men going to work’. IF YOU EVER see one of them in trouble go to his aid because WE will be hurting if too many of them miss work and they can’t pay their taxes’.

It wasn’t on Todd & Dawn yesterday, they were talking about a waterpark in Pville - and where would THAT water be coming from - but racial strife is not reported in Austin, because, well, that just wouldn’t be weird or progressive. Might scare the white folk$.
We’ll see what the FSA does this weekend when their food stamps are pruned back.
Austin, the Liberal island in a sea of Texas conservatism. Explains the lack of individual and official riot suppressive gunfire, and/or tear gas.
It’s also the swamp for many rich liberals who got that way through .gov largesse, real estate and old-money cronyism who get alarmed when they hear ‘all the APD units were tied up in the riot and not available for 911 calls’... because they are unarmed.
