Health & Human Services Secretary Kathleen Sebelius testifies on the hill, Wednesday, concerning healthcare.gov’s problems since its October 1 rollout. She’ll answer questions before the House Energy & Commerce Committee.

This is the committee’s second hearing related to the website problems. Last week, four government contractors hired to help build the site testified. Tuesday, Marilyn Tavener, Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) Administrator, appeared before the Ways & Means Committee.

CMS is responsible for setting up the federal marketplace for insurance exchanges and the Medicaid expansion. Rep. Fred Upton chairs the committee and Rep. Henry Waxman serves as Ranking Member.

Bottom line: You were NEVER gonna be able to keep your plan because INSURANCE COMPANIES would, by LAW, not be able to sell you the same exact plan!!

it is my understanding that only property owners had a right to vote and could delegate that responsibility to a household member if they so chose to (could be a woman, a kid, etc...). Women’s suffrage was a farce from the standpoint of it being about a woman’s right to vote - they always could, they just had to be a landowner themselves or have the duty delegated to them by a landowner.

“simple description of the difference without individual definitions of each”

lose = verb

loose = adjective

Ignore those who are getting their pants in a ‘Not’ over grammer or spelling. It is far more important we get what’s being said....besides we all know how to read twitter etc..no different than short cuts or mispspellings here...so forge on.

I also have posted on threads “as it hapens” and others too...it makes no difference the spelling/grammer....most understand what is being done and appreciate the news as it comes.

we know who always wins and we know who always loses... the Stupid Party, and ... us.

And this is a glaring example why many of us will be actively campaigning to REMOVE these people in 2014!!

When you've been on this forum for as long as I, you'll learn that the incorrect usage of "loose" instead of "lose" is NOT a "mispelling"....it's a way of life.

So let's stop this particular give and take and stay on topic, lol.

If your policy didn’t cover abortions, pregnancy, birth-control and a host of other gov. imposed laws...then yes you will loose your coverage....

What is interesting, and a heads up ,is how much of the law’s regulations are ‘focused on sexual issues’..... ‘also race and minorities’.

I learned long ago that spell check has limited use. I was under the impression people knew lose and loose were REAL words.

Question for the day: “Obamacare Democrats or TEA Party Republicans: Who yuh gunna trust?

_____________________________

My thoughts exactly:

Hmmm....
If you like the healthcare plan you have, you can keep it.
Obamacare will lower premiums.
I will make Government Open and Transparent
I will make it “Impossible” for Congressmen to slip in Pork Barrel Projects
Meetings where laws are written will be more open to the public (republicans shut out)
No more secrecy
Public will have 5 days to look at a Bill
You’ll know what’s in it (Republican Senators didn’t know)
We will put every pork barrel project online
No more illegal wire tapping of America Citizens.
Obama doesn’t know anything that is happening, until the media reports it

VS.

Obamacare will destroy the health insurance and healthcare industry
Premiums will rise
People will lose their insurance plans
There will be death panels
Taxes will be increased
The government is illegally spying and collecting data on American citizens
The government is passing bills in secrecy
Obama will sign unconstitutional Executive Orders to go around the Congress>
Obama is behind and is well aware of, everything happening in DC

Lies vs. Truths!! And facts bear out who has been vindicated on the above. 9 times out of 10, it’s a Republican or a Tea Party candidate, speaking truth to the lies. I know which side I stand with, do you?

This anonymous quote is sooo right:

“Obamacare websites make a reasonable person wonder how this administration could have made such a colossal bungle of the rollout when they are, after all, the same savvy experts who had the most sophisticated and precise campaign websites ever built............. They could pinpoint voters down to a city block,...... but they messed up a website that cost the government over $200 million more than it cost.”

Blackburn rolls for no one! She wasn’t about to give Sibelous an inch...

I was glad to see some of the Republicans dish it out as they did...it’s way past time to put these thieves on the hot seat and then some.
