Not being a thread nanny. This is a new thread, I know. Just some worthwhile comments on yesterday's thread. None by me I hasten to add.
I nominate this for understatement of the week.
Ted Cruz is someone I usually wholeheartedly agree with, but to accuse Obama of abusing power is a bit much.< /sarcasm off>
Obama is not abusing his powers, he is usurping powers which he is not authorized to use.
However, as long as America does nothing, Obama will continue to usurp powers and abuse them at will.

If not, Congress as a whole will lose all their power under Article I of the Constitution.
Be advised, if/when that happens, all bets are off.

As I recall, Sarah Palin (and a few others) have been saying essentially the same thing. (No, I don’t have links and do not intend to spend the time finding them.)
The difference is that Cruz used slightly stronger wording. He is also the highest profile person currently in office with the guts to state the truth.
You can bet the farm the same people who destroyed Sarah Palin will attempt to do the same thing to him. That includes the leadership of the Republican Party (may they rot in He!!).
In my opinion, Cruz has become the leader of the resistance. He is thus our last faint hope for saving our once great country.
