Kyle Olson of EAGnews, an education reform non-profit based in Muskegon, recently published a video exposing the content of the curriculum that will be used by fourth grade teachers for the Common Core national standards in English. Olson takes issue with the use of a children’s book called “The Jacket.”
Olson explains, “The story centers around a young white boy named Phil who wrongly accuses an African-American student of stealing his brother’s jacket.
This is a fun little book about racism and white privilege – a left-wing concept that teaches students the values of an American society are actually designed to benefit white people.”
The video speaks for itself, especially the presentation by multicultural educator, Dr. Marguerite Parks of the University of Wisconsin.

I have a teacher friend who says that the teachers in her district are revolting against Common Core. Their first loyalty is to do what’s best for the child. So they are not following the ‘Common Core Curriculum’. They are doing their own lesson plans. This Common Core Crap isn’t what’s best for the child. I hope teachers take back their profession all over the country!
Why not just have them read “To Kill a Mockingbird?”

I’ve been hearing first hand horror stories of this white privilege garbage from college kids. It is doing a great job at twisting their realities.
Yep, I have the world by the tail ONLY because I am white. How I lived my entire life without giving that privilege away to someone else, well I surely have to be punished in some way for that. It’s disgusting.

There are radio ads saying that “noted conservatives like Mike Huckabee and Jeb Bush support common core” right noted conservatives.

Assuming a pack of blacks are a threat is not necessarily racist - because the group IS comprised of a demographic that is statistically more likely to be violent and criminal.
Several black boys in Catholic school uniforms won’t garner the same concern as several blacks in hoodies and dangling pants.
If the black community wants to fight these stereotypes, they shouldn’t call the whites racist - they should straighten up their kids, eliminate the gangs, enforce moral standards and break the cycle of dependance and teenage pregnancy.
Until they clean up their own community, they have no right to be angry that others perceive them as the violent thugs their own subculture venerates through rap.

Also 6 th graders where doing a project on changing the bill of rights. Student told her mom I have no Idea what the bill of rights is all about, how do I change it if I dont know what it’s about. This program is funded and run by the microsoft commie and his wife!
