Wait, what? I don’t understand, in the picture it shows the charging handle on the left side. If you shoot right handed how can charge your weapon with the left hand without taking it off the forearm?
I find that 45 ACP drops like a rock.
It is a low velocity big hunk of lead.
It gets worse with shorter barrel lengths.
That said, I carry an officers model.
I have no intention of using it outside of 25 feet.
.357 sig is a hot round.
Assuming you’re using your right hand to hold the rifle by the pistol grip. You would insert a magazine with left hand, then reach back with same to pull the charging handle back.
I like .357sig but I like 9mm better.

I always charge left handed anyway. It really doesn’t change that. If you shoot right handed you charge lefty.

9mm will do and it is way cheaper
But the magazine release is on the right side, why wouldn’t you use your right hand to release and change out mags?
I’m getting totally different results (old, old range notebooks) with Cor-Bon 165gr/ 1250-fps JHPs. Nosler and Glazer load specs vary widely, too.
Someday/week/month/year, I need to get all those years of ammo testing on to a set of spreadsheets.
To be honest I have not shot any 45 in at least 4 years.

I YouTubed it and everyone does it left-handed. I had no idea I was doing it wrong. I shoot left-handed though so I’m all backassward. That’s why I thought that charger would be good for me?
You can release the magazine with your trigger finger.

In 3-5yrs, it’ll be a whole lot less than $25k.
Yeah I see that now. When I shoot left-handed I use my right thumb off the forearm to release the mag and then my left hand to load a new mag. Us lefties are discriminated against!
If you shoot lefty, you would want something like this.
An ambi charger.
