...more and more details are coming to light about some of the alleged problems inside of the Dolphins locker room...
According to Adam Beasley from CBS4 news partner the Miami Herald...
One young defensive player, whose privacy Im protecting, has literally gone broke because hes been pressured to pay for older players, Beasley wrote on Twitter Sunday afternoon. Theyve gotten sucked into the Miami lifestyle, and the veterans are using the younger player as an ATM, Im told.
Beasley continued saying a younger Dolphins player was handed the tab for a $30,000 team dinner. The rookie minimum this year is around $400,000.

By golly I think I’ve found the script for Grumpy Old Men III (and the cast).
Easy..we change the name of the Redskins..
They’re all getting money for nothing and the Chics are free.
I have had almost zero interest in sports after age 13 or so. My spousal unit in recent years has become the big sports watcher and sometime ticket buyer.
Pro ball from what little I’ve been subjected to is nothing but gang colors and over used effects with absurd blabber for commentary.
At one time I hated sports in general in the early 2000s. At that time I was in public TV land and the cabal of management types who also worked all the good paying freelance gigs and loved to trumpet to the lowly mortals came up with a big money loser. ETV sports sucked up and screwed up almost every weekend.
Most of it was high school and junior college stuff that few people cared about.
I fought it for years for a few reasons and after finally winning some concessions from the cabal leader (after I had to say veteran and lawsuit in the same sentence), I went on some. I mellowed back to being indifferent.
It went back to hate for the time I was there when that person had the nerve to tell me and the rest of the mere mortals that we should have to watch sports at home on weekends to get better handles on doing replays and the like.
A selling point (outright lie) by the leader was if we lowly ones got really good there was (none) of getting in on the good paying stuff. We all knew for the longest time that one had to be in right clique. That was all that mastered. Merit and ability didn’t mean so much.
He didn’t take it so well when I said I will not waste good digital cable on ballgames and preferred turner classic and the history channel.
The more I read about this, the less I understand it. NUTZ.
Why is it screwing older players to pay them less when they are older and less able?
From the discussion I saw last night before the Green Bay/Chicago game, this is a complete breakdown of the locker room hierarchy. The retired players who were on the panel said the senior members of the team should have put a stop to that crap ages ago. They said it is up to the experienced members and leaders on the team to make sure this kind of stuff doesn’t happen and when they hear about it (and you can bet they did) they should put a stop to it before it ever reaches the proportions that it did. The guys on the panel were disgusted with the situation.
I damn near got fired once when I said the same thing. The players contribute NOTHING (directly) to the gross national product yet people worship them almost as much as the demodummies worship odumbo. I don't buy it, have only been to one professional football game in my lifetime (forced to march at halftime) and have no plans to ever attend one.
