Shooting up into the air isn’t necessarily harmless is it though? I think I read years ago someone shot a gun into the air in New Orleans to celebrate New Year’s and the bullet fell down and killed someone.
Oh, so now “22 caliber assault rifle” is a thing.
war on drugs has a new meaning, not stopping the flood because there are elements who have a vested interest in it and it’s not just the street thugs it goes right up the ladder
So now molly isn’t just something that kills partygoers when they get overheated; now it can lead to shooting sprees at malls. Sure nice that the users can get high off it but I just hope they don’t decide to bring one to a public place and shoot it up because THEY want to kill themselves (maybe he was trying to do suicide by cop). All zonked out and who’s to say he couldn’t have killed someone?
I saw this on several web sites last night, but when I checked FOX and CNN TV there was nothing on it, so I knew it was not as bad as the web sites made it out to be.
Now terrorists know that LAX and shopping malls are not secure, in spite of all the law enforcement agencies that show up after the fact.
Ban all pizza delivery!!
The story on Breitbart has a comment saying he was firing into walls, not just firing up in the air. So I guess it’s OK to go into a mall, strung out on molly, and shoot up in the air (but what goes up must come down) or into the walls and say “I don’t mean to hurt anyone”. Oh, right. Going out in a shooting spree...it’s one thing to be sober and shoot (and take note he TOOK HIS BROTHER’S GUN), another to be all zonked out and go into a public place.
Yeah yeah, in the end he killed only himself but...

The solution to mall shootings is obvious. Set up TSA check points at each mall entrance. Lots of new jobs, more security, what’s not to like about it. The bonus points will be yet another strike against free enterprise (you didn’t build that!!) and a further degradation of peon dignity.
It’s hard to tell what he was using from the pansy-a$$ reporting done by journalists and editors these days. Some have said he had a S&W M&P-15, which was pretty surprising detail considering the source. Now this report states that it was a .22 caliber which could mean he had a M&P-15/22 rim-fire version instead of the 5.56 rifle. It would be too much for the reporter to know that the 5.56mm is a .22 cal bullet too, I suppose.
Geez, don’t give them any ideas.
There’s a company called GSG (German Sporting Guns) that makes some neat stuff - AR-15 ‘look’ but in .22 - if .22 weren’t coveted like gold right now, it would be a heck of a lot of fun for a lot less $$.
I’ve got one of their 1911’s...in .22 of course.
The MSA, coming soon.
A tatted up doper.
Under Cuomounism, in NYS, a Ruger 10/22 (or any semiauto 22 that takes removable magazines) with a thumbhole stock, adjustable stock, pistol grip, threaded barrel, muzzle brake, or one of a few other “evil features” is an “assault weapon”.
They are illegal to purchase and those owned prior to 1/15/13, must be either sold out of state, registered, or modified to remove all “evil features” by 4/15/14.
