Thread for discussion of tonight's VA Gov Elecitons Result. Is this too early?
He’s not overperforming. In many of the preliminary counties, he is underperforming, but McCauliffe is not picking up a significant number of voters other than people that may not normally vote in off-year elections.
VA Beach looks bad 27,000-24,000, the GOP should be cleaning up here.
Obama won Loudoun country by 4% in 2012

Our last Gov won Chesterfield County by 2 to 1.
Cooch is only ahead there by 8%...

Can always hope there’s somthing different going on this time though.
Money is the problem for conservative/TP candidates. The big corporate donors and the influence peddlers have to be made to fear us- since we can’t offer them crony favors and government money- or we’ll always be losing.
There’s a few scary pockets to get through. All of Hampton has reported, but almost none of Richmond.
I assume many voters from Louisiana left a trail of ectoplasm all the way to the Virginia voting booths.

Cooch down 50% in Richmond City but Romney lost rICHMOND ciTY BY 57%. Sarvis at 10% there. Hurting McDickhead in certain areas.
Getting the gender gap under 10% would have been the easiest strategy that would have made the most potential difference.
It certainly seems that McAuliffe is underperforming.
Cuccinelli seems slightly ahead of Romney 2012
Jamie Dupree - reporter- just tweeted the following Exit Poll info:
McCauliffe won: 96% Democrat votes; 3% GOP votes; and 36% Independents.
Cuccinelli won 91% GOP Votes; 2% Democrat Votes; and 47% Independent votes
Sarvis won: 16% Independents; 3% Democrats; and 4% GOP.
Cuccinelli leads in total votes by more than McAfful leads in Fairfax.
