Ken Cuccinelli lost the governor's race in Virginia, but here's the thing — he didn't lose by that much. Only 3 points. Because the race came so close, far right Republicans blame the GOP establishment for not doing more to give Cuccinelli a boost. The Republican National Committee put $9 million into Gov. Bob McDonnell's campaign in 2009. This year, Cuccinelli got $3 million. Cuccinelli "was betrayed by his own party," Rush Limbaugh told listeners on Wednesday afternoon, but the betrayal was not a surprise. Limbaugh said:
"In Virginia the GOP simply didn't want a Tea Party candidate winning there. They just didn't. 'Cause they coulda won that race, folks. I mean, it's really a shame. I was gonna say stunning, but it really isn't stunning."
Limbaugh, like many other conservatives, argues that contrary to the media narrative — Republicans win when they're moderates like Chris Christie and lose when they're conservatives like Cuccinelli — the opposite is true. Conservatives just need to be given a chance to thrive. But instead, resources were withheld from Cuccinelli, "So now the Republican establishment can run around and claim the Tea Party is an albatross around their neck."

We’ve just enough time to organize a new political party if we start whith in the next few weeks. An established 3rd party would end one party rule.
A set of guidelines and rules, a party constitution if you will, would need to be installed with the understanding any elected candidate would sign an agreement to resign if they failed to live up to them.
Here is the deal. All the polling indicated that any money put into this race would have been wasted.
Turns out the poll may have been wrong, but for the most part, money goes where the polls indicate a winnable race and that was not the case here.

The worst part is now the Republican Party saw one of their actual Republicans lose and a faux Republican win, because of their own actions and because the faux Republican could not even be bothered to help a fellow GOP-er even when his election was in the bag, but nonetheless they will continue to interpret it as a need for more faux Republicans and fewer real Republicans. Just watch, they will place Christie ahead of Scott Walker, Mike Lee, Rand Paul and Ted Cruz in the 2016 presidential elections. And actual Republicans, much less actual conservatives or actual non liberals of any kind, will need clothespins over their noses to pull the level for Christie 3 years from now.
So the Dems and Pubs are playing 3 Card Monti with the American people. We’re all rube suckers to them! Sick!
The officials only add in enough votes during the counting process to insure a win. Adding too many could raise eyebrows and draw attention.
They won. That's what counts.

I’m never voting for a Rino again. Christie will not get my vote if he becomes the Republican candidate. Used to love his style, but after his bromance with Obama, I’m done! Have no use for his arrogance and disdain. He will be Obama and Bloomberg combined.
Got a GOP email blast saying “congratulate Christie” and asking for a donation. Went to the GOP.com website, found the “contact us” page, and proceeded to send them my email blast.
This is something we all need to do. Insteading of just talking among ourselves, use their contact site and hammer the GOP.
Ted Cruz and Mike Lee are Republicans not members of a third party. We don’t need third parties. We need mass conservative involvement in the Republican party and the political process.

The problem is you can never get around the fact that the big GOP donors are not conservative. When they don’t get their candidate in the primary they slam the check book shut. Bolling was their stooge in VA. He lost and they cut out KC. Game, set, match for Team Clinton.
The GOP globalists are not bothered at all about Main Street getting stuck with socialized medicine, our Constitional rights being violated, etc., etc. We simply can’t be the ground troops to their agenda. It’s cutting our own throats.
Sorry, but, even with all of that, we lost because our “side” either didn’t vote or voted for the “libertarian”. When our side votes, and votes strategically, we win.
Agree. The only political success in opposition has been the TEA movement and they are focused on taking back the Republican Party. If third parties were ever going to make a difference, they would have by now. They are spoilers in the primary, dividing a crucial primary vote needed to elect the most Conservative candidate we can find. That merely succeeds in the GOPe candidate taking the nomination.
As someone said we need to unite early behind the best candidate we can find to ensure he becomes the nominee.
How do we win when our own party is against us?

To hell with the GOP money men. My point is that conservatives have the money and power to do things ourselves if only we dedicate more of our time and energy into real world practical politics as opposed to sitting around complaining and only showing up to support candidates around election time. The reins of power of the GOP are there for the taking if only enough of us would just get involved. We didn’t need the big donors to elect Ted Cruz to the Senate, and we don’t need them to elect him or another conservative to the White House.
