Yes he did. During his “Nationalist Party” spiel where he blathered about not wanting to hear about conservatism anymore too.

Speaking of Rush, did any body hear him read the 13 nutritional myths today, and what did you think of them? I googled them and apparently they come from “Eating Well” magazine. I agree with some, not others and have discussed it on today’s Rush Limbaugh thread.

I have a theory about the mayoral race in New York. First I think it was partly “change for the sake of change”, the same insanity that got Obama elected in 2008. And I think it was young voters and transplants who weren’t able to remember what NYC was like in the 80s. I myself have t visited for a long time. They’ve come to take the new, improved NYC for granted, but they’ll find out soon enough.

I am of the mind that I was after Romney lost...

There is no more hope left on this planet, they want their socialism ie. Neo-Fuedalism, let the foolish ignorant masses have it and let’s speed the demise until the collapse, then Darwinism will take over.

>>> Look at the Virginia Gov. election yesterday for example <<< Yeah, look at the VA election with a democrat funded “Libertarian” taking votes from the conservative.

I disagree with Mike about the pot tax for several reasons. First, it makes Colorado officially a narco state e.g. they derive income specifically from the sale of a controlled substance. Also it will simply drive the “home grown” industry and feed the black market trade, just like before. And finally the money always goes into some sort of slush fund that gets diverted from its original purpose.

I forget how many plants you can grow for yourself, but you’d have to be a heavy smoker to use them up.

Regarding the last point, in ten years people will be asking where the “pot money” is, and there will be an investigation revealing “accounting discrepancies” in the millions.

Better choice is to go to the drug dealer than pay the tax.

It’s probably just a general fund thing. I didn’t check to see if the money was earmarked specifically for anything. i vote against all tax increases. We are way over taxed.

WA is facing the same types of dilemnas. The latest is bank and financial institution funding. The banks would love to lend to pot entrepreneurs, but apparently their federal regulation doesn’t allow it.

I don’t know if it was here or someplace else that somebody was complaining about the smell of marijuana in public places in Seattle. They may have been exaggerating, but I have noticed it when I go down there. You notice it on city buses. Obviously people can’t smoke on buses, but it’s like their clothes and hair is saturated with it or something.

Between the marijuana in Seattle and the bikini espresso stands(fronts for prostitution , many of them) in Everett, it’s kind of like Amsterdam .

Mike has a tin ear sometimes. Caller phones in to say how indian gambling has helped a tribe he knows of. Mike constantly interupts him with “humorous” interjections, and misses the point entirely. I’ve seen it. And yes, there are problems with the indian tribe’s legal/tax status, but don’t beat up the caller, take it up with the federal government and Bureau of Indian Affairs.

I am positive that NYC long-time resident Don Imus was against the new mayor; but in general his friends are ultra liberal media, Obama-lover types. Though Imus mildly criticizes Obama w/o the usual name calling.

I hope the mayor tries to seize more money from the "rich" New Yorkers -- listening to Imus blow his top should be a real treat.

I like his staff.. I emailed him suggesting that he retire and have someone playback random outrageous comments of his -- the real entertainment is his staff's reaction.

Imus is no longer carried in Sacramento so I occasionally use the Internet to listen.

Sometimes he doesn’t let the caller get to his/her point at all.
