Yes that's irksome and disrespectful of someone hanging on hours(?) to talk to him.
Bill Cunningham does something that's puzzling.. a caller will state a position with a compelling argument. After the caller has made his point Cunningham often jumps in and restates the caller's point as though it was his -- and (it sounds like to me) challenges the caller to prove him wrong.
(It's like Cunningham is not really paying attention and doing somethings as the caller talks.)
I’m going to go off the Internet for awhile and read a P.G. Wodehouse novel. And if I get tired of that, I’ll switch to another book.
My respect for Bill (Willie) Cunningham dropped quite a bit when I was flipping around a friend’s TV and saw his daytime tv show that was identical in format to Jerry Springer. Get a bunch of loser slobs in one room that are fornicating with each other behind the other’s backs, and let the sparks fly. Disgraceful coming from someone who purports to be a flag waving conservative and chastizes “the media” for a lowering of moral values.
Going to be REAL INTERESTING in his new time slot when the first caller asks Doc, “how he is?” lol
He's probably doing show prep for his jerry springer like tv show.
