Obama: Obamacare "Like Having A Really Good Product And The Cash Registers Don't Work" (video)

PRESIDENT OBAMA: Now, I am the first to say that the first month I have not been happy with. You've all heard about the website woes. Nothing drives me more crazy than the fact that right now, there is great insurance to be had out there -- choice and competition -- where people can save money for a better product, except too many folks have not been able to get through the website.

Now, this is like having a really good product in the store and the cash registers don't work and there aren't enough parking spots and nobody can get through the door. And so we are working overtime to get this fixed. And the website is already better than it was at the beginning of October. And by the end of this month, we are anticipating it will be working the way it is supposed to. Alright? Folks are working 24/7 to make sure that happens.

"... like having a really good product in the store and the cash registers don't work..."

Perfect analogy! Except that your saying the product is rain (it's number 1) and it's also made out of krappe (number 2).

Can someone explain the math: Rates go up about 40% on the 85% who have insurance...to pay for the 15% who don't.

Certainly the amount being collected is more than adequate to cover the 15% (most of whom are uninsured by choice). Where is all that extra money going?

People are funding lower costs in Ocare? Really? Are Zero’s talking points really that far behind?

Thank the Lord that the"cash register" is not working! What reasonable person would want to impart his personal information to the cadre of felons facilitating this scam?

Having Obama is like having Hitler, and the gas chambers haven’t been built yet.

It’s not like that at all.

The product isn’t good. Not a bit.
People do NOT want it. Only a few do - those who won’t pay for it. Others are having their existing product they DO really like taken away by force. Then they’re being forced to buy this new more expensive sucky product.

Red states are getting shafted. Individuals who speak out against gov’t are suddenly having problems with their gov’t insurance.

This is so bad.

Don’t they know payback will be hell?

The Zero is simply delusional with power at this point. He probably cant’t even understand he is lying any longer. I so look forward to the day, it all comes crashing down on his deluded ego.

The 85% who are already insured are also paying more for all the “free” stuff added to their policies, i.e. preventive care and things like contraceptives. Handing out “free” stuff is expensive.

Now, this is like thinking you have a really good product in the store and after you sell it customers find it’s a cheap knock-off of Castrocare.

"... like having a really good product in the store and the cash registers don't work..."

Hey Obama....hows that great electric car selling...the Volt you dolt.

Does General Motors' (GM) five-week production suspension of the Chevrolet Volt because of oversupply cast doubt on whether electric cars can sell in volume at current prices? The analysts at Edmunds.com think so.

"The oversupply of Volts suggests that consumer demand is just not that strong for these vehicles," says Lacey Plache, Edmunds chief economist. Plache notes that high price is a drawback. "The price premium on the Volt just doesn't make economic sense for the average consumer when there are so many fuel-efficient gasoline cars available, typically for thousands of dollars less."

GM says its temporary Volt shutdown and idling of 1,300 workers is necessary to get its inventory levels in line. The company sold 7,671 Volts last year -- well short of its 10,000 target. And selling 1,626 in the first two months this year is far below the pace needed to hits its original 2012 sales goal of 45,000

Kind of true, except that this is NOT a really good product; it is NOT a good product; it is a very bad product for the consumer. And there are plenty of parking spaces because there are no customers!

Obamacare is more like borrowing from a loan shark, where you repay the loan many times over.
