In Viet Nam, we sold off almost everything as scrap before the Final Collapse. I recall mountains of artillery brass that went to India and Pakistan. Every time I see some brass ashtray in a gift shop, I think of that.

While the cost of transporting all this gear back to the US is likely prohibitive, we could employ a lot of the Unemployed in rehabbing it.

It would ‘clash’ with their gold chains, gold grills, ghetto-rat baseball caps, Caddy Escalades and ring-laden fingers, etc.

The companies that manufactured these products would scream their heads off if the suggestion to rehab it was seriously considered.
