China does not have to be Communist to do what they do today in global competiiton. Throughout China’s political experience (Imperial, Early Republic, Nationalist and now Communist) each dynasty fell due to two factors, one fighting wars that deplete the gov treasury and two economic depression/famine. ALL Chinese leaders know that a fully employed and fed society means stable domestic security. That is their historical experience. The US gov and corporate leaders never faced a workers revolt in its short 237 years of history. Since they never suffered, they continue to be disconnected by such prospect and are careless on how their decisions affect average Americans.
Well put.
I disagree strongly with throwing America’s future into a basket, pushed by a People’s Republic of anything.
Otherwise thanks, a very good post.
