Let me preface this post by fessing up....I'm fat....months ago my wife and I went on a low carb diet.....I have lost 35 lbs.....(I'm still fat but not AS fat) I look forward to eventually losing another 60 lbs. I don't try to convince any one of anything. I will say that IMHO sugar is the biggest culprit, but excess carbs of any kind is bad. As far as I know there is not a minimum amount of carbs that is a recommended daily amount i.e. carbohydrates are not necessary in ones diet. While I am not saying one should never eat carbs I am saying one should limit them when ever possible. All my numbers, Blood pressure, cholesterol. Blood sugar etc. improved substantially, that is simply the facts!!

Prepare yourself for the carb crash, lol. Low carb dieting does work, spectacularly for some, but around six months into it you’ll get very powerful cravings for the foods you’ve been avoiding. Me, my hands started shaking almost like DT’s or something, ended up going through a KFC drivethrough and getting a large order of mashed potatoes with gravy. Dang they were good, too. Allow yourself just a little starch now and then to avoid this, imho.
