I have one in my dresser drawer.
If these are such great ideas, Mr. President, such good non-partisan ideas, then it should be no problem to get strong bipartisan support in Congress for them, right? What am I missing?
Mr. President, we live in a constitutional republic. You are the President. Your powers are limited. Congress has certain powers. If you have such great ideas, which transcend the Republican/Democrat divide, then it should be a straightforward process to gain support in Congress for your ideas. There are limits to what you can do by executive order or through administration policies through agencies such as the EPA.
That made me really laugh out loud.
