The problem for Perry:
The MSM would show the video of his memory lapse* over and over and over. Although, they didn’t bother to show similar Obama lapses — including the 7+ minutes of uhs and hmmmms at one town hall.
Perry has one of the best records, considering how Texas has fared during the Obama years compared to many other states.
[* Most of ‘us’ realize the lapse was probably due to the pain medication he was on, as he has just had back surgery a couple of weeks before entering the 2012 primaries.]
Is the pain medication the reason that Rick Perry looked at me through the TV camera during one of the debates and told me that if I don’t want to support his favorite illegal aliens then I have no heart? I don’t care if Rick Perry wants to spend his own money on his favorite charity or if everybody in Texas wants to spend their own money on their very favorite charity like sending illegals to college, but Mr. Perry crossed the line from conservative to lecturing liberal with that remark. And I don’t think it was medication that caused that to happen.
