The Cristian message is hate the sin but love the sinner. Not always easy to apply in practice. It may require expulsion from Churches for practicing homos and keeping them away from our kids. But it does not mean that we should invade their privacy, refuse to hire them in areas where their homosexuality is not relevant to performance, or that everything they say or do is wrong. Unfortunately, the gays are not helping their cause by getting in the faces of the morally upright.

Socon-Econ: "It may require expulsion from Churches for practicing homos and keeping them away from our kids."

A homosexual is no different than an adulterer, a drunkard, or a liar from a sin perspective.

1 Corinthians 6:9-11 "9 Or do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived; neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor [a]effeminate, nor homosexuals, 10 nor thieves, nor the covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor swindlers, will inherit the kingdom of God. 11 Such were some of you; but you were washed, but you were sanctified, but you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and in the Spirit of our God."

So it's entirely possible for a repentant homosexual to be a faithful Christian. That doesn't mean they won't still be tempted by the same weaknesses they had before they became a Christian, just like an alcoholic will likely be tempted to drink again. However, these urges to return to one's original sin grow much less as one grows in Christ (from my experience).

Now Vicky Gene Robinson is a different case entirely. He doesn't just suffer from homosexual temptation, he acts on it. Even worse, he claims his homosexual acts aren't sin! What does the Bible say about that?

1 Corinthians 5:9-11 9 I wrote you in my letter not to associate with immoral people; 10 I did not at all mean with the immoral people of this world, or with the covetous and swindlers, or with idolaters, for then you would have to go out of the world. 11 But [f]actually, I wrote to you not to associate [g]with any so-called brother if he is an immoral person, or covetous, or an idolater, or a reviler, or a drunkard, or a swindler—not even to eat with such a one.

Christians shouldn't even sit down to eat with someone like Vicky Gene Robinson, and I haven't even gotten into the foolishness of making someone like him a church leader (That also flies in the face of scriptural guidance). This is why I would have nothing whatsoever to do with this apostate "Christian" or any church that would claim him.
