OK, but how come so many kids born in the late 1940s, and gone to school and lived in the (pardon the cliche) Ozzie and Harriet world of the 1950s, said the pledge of alliegance and even a little prayer before school started became counter-culture hippies in the 1960s? Sometimes things aren’t so cut and dry.

This is a testament to the life changing effects of drugs.

I'd say it is cut and dry. A patient who gets pneumonia doesn't look sick, or feel sick the instant he is infected with a virus or bacteria. It takes time for the fever and chills to manifest themselves. The hippie culture was the fever. The infection started 150 years ago.

It is cut and dry because they attended K-12 single-payer and socialist entitlement schools that were essentially godless in their worldview. Yes, there may have been a nod to God in the morning with a Lord's Prayer, but what did that teach?

Answer #1: It taught that we as a nation can nod to God and then put Him in a drawer for the rest of the day.

Answer #2: It taught this generation that any voting mob that can give them tuition-free schooling and lots of fun ( and sports and theater and art, and cheerleading, and marching band, and proms, etc.) is also powerful enough to give them **LOTS** of free stuff.

Answer #3: Bill Ayers did not get where he was without a lot of mentoring and help from men in academia of my father's generation ( born 1913). The men in academia that trained Bill Ayers were trained by the **same** people who taught in the government's K-12 socialist-entitlement schools of the 50s and 60s. The Marxist rot in academia has been there for more than 100 years. These are the Marxists who did train the teachers of the last century and are training teachers today.

If we send children to compulsory-funded and compulsory attendance socialist-entitlement schools the nation's children will learn to be comfortable with socialism and government compulsion. It only took one to three generations of compulsory socialist schooling to give the nation Franklin D. Roosevelt.

If children attend government schools that teach a lukewarm and generic Protestantism, they will learn to be comfortable with a lukewarm and generic relationship with God. If they attend GODLESS schools they **WILL** learn to think and reason godlessly. They must just to cooperate in the godless classroom.

Government socialist-entitlement, single-payer, and compulsory-use K-12 schooling was a Progressive idea born in the 1800s. The Marxist/Progs have **always***controlled the training of teachers and curriculum development. The Marxist/Progs have always been pushing at the edges of society's morals and ethical standards. The Marxist/Progs have always pushed for greater and greater secularism until now the schools are not only godless they are ANTI-god!
