They seemed to be successful keeping people away during the shutdown. I didn’t see any Fed employees getting run off. in fact the Park Service got very aggressive in many cases.
I guess that we live in different worlds; but I’ve never lived in an Urban Environment so wouldn’t know reality there. Here in Alaska, I do believe we still retain much of the freedom everybody once had.
