If I were in the military today and ordered to fire on my American countrymen while on the American homeland, I’d be compelled to fire on the officer who issued that illegal order.

Beyond that, you'd need to seek out and neutralize those who gave the senior officers their illegal orders.

I agree that the upper echelon of the command structure would need to be removed and I'd hope if that point is ever reached that other patriots in the ranks and physically closer to those particular traitors would take care of that task
