I thought maybe you had met him before, as I know you've met Katherine. I feel SO bad for her. I can't help but wonder what health problems her husband had that drove him to this.

I only met Katherine briefly while volunteering for her Senate campaign. That was the only time we ever saw or spoke to each other, but this is terrible news.
